Autoren-Profil

A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, with a BBA, Peggy Moreland worked on her master's degree in writing at the University of Central Oklahoma. Before penning her first romance, she co-wrote the story of the Edmond, Oklahoma, Post Office massacre for Norman Vincent Peale's Guideposts magazine. This foray into nonfiction was exciting but proved to her that her heart belonged in romantic fiction, where there is always a happy ending. She published her first romance with Silhouette Books in 1989 and continues to delight readers with stories set in her home state of Texas. Winner of the National Readers' Choice Award, a nominee for Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award, and a two-time finalist for the prestigious RITA® Award, Peggy has had her books appear frequently on the USA TODAY and Waldenbooks bestseller lists.Married for 30+ years, Peggy is the mother of three children--all grown-up now and living on their own--and the proud owner of a registered quarter horse. Competitions in clover-leaf barrel racing, pole-bending and straightaway barrel racing earned her three silver championship buckles in 1997. A native Texan, Peggy and her family currently live on a ranch in the Texas Hill Country. When not writing, you can usually find Peggy outside tending the cattle, goats and other critters on their ranch. You may write to Peggy at P.O. Box 1099, Florence, TX 76527-1099 or email her at [email protected].
