4.5 Stars This book is just what I needed to read. It's light and funny with plenty of heat. Rafe and Carrie are great together. They have chemistry just pouring off them. Life is kicking Carrie's butt at the moment and Rafe provides the perfect distraction. What happens when two people who don't do relationships start developing feelings? Read this book and find out! I was really happy with how Rafe and Carrie's story ended. Made my heart happy sigh. I also liked the set up for the next book in the series.

Laughter and fun under a sizzling cover that speaks of what is to come…. I was in desperate of a rom-com escape and I quickly got lost in Rafe and Carrie’s romance! When love is good, it is great but when it is bad, watch out… Carrie is experiencing the down side in spades, laying low and trying to recover from a blow to her career that came out of left field. Thank goodness for Rafe… Likeable. Lickable. Yeah, Rafe is both those things and so much more. He is sexy personified with a personality that is just as beautiful. He becomes more than a welcome distraction as the instant attraction between him and Carrie ignites a flirty and fun courtship that leads to, forever? “You hate weddings, too?” “Like carpet burns on my a**…” Their humour and sizzle was like a heated balm on winter day. Their conversations, their warmth and irreverent conversations, made me smile and laugh through their rollicking courtship. New word of the day: “Bang-a-Pa-Looza” Hit my Canuck funny bone: “Don’t put that on Canada, babe.. They don’t deserve this…” I couldn’t wait to finish, so I could start over from the beginning, enjoying one more laugh, one more hug for my heart. That will keep me busy while I wait for Tristan’s story… Though, honestly, I’m ready right now! **I voluntarily, happily, reviewed this story…

Another great book with loveable characters and humorous situations. The Troublemaker is a sexy tale of a irresistible bachelor who has no desire to fall in love and the (self proclaimed) unlovable woman who brings him to his knees. Carrie Haverford is in hiding. After being publicly humiliated by her ex she tucked tail and ran to her sister's winery to wait out the negative press. She is done with relationships and putting her trust in men, turns out all they are good for is a good time with no strings attached. Lucky for her the handsomely rugged Rafe Hunter is of the same opinion.
