It was a long story with so many pages dedicated to the many villains. I've read a lot of historical romance novels and I've never seen so much focus given to so many villains in any given story until this one. It gets tiring after awhile and it felt like the main characters were competing with the villains for the readers' full attention. The end was sudden and not well thought. It felt like the author had used up the maximum words allowed (focusing on the villains) and had to rush and insert the ending. I found it really disappointing.

One of the books that I enjoyed so much. My second time reading this novel. I am not so much into physical attraction at first, but everything in here is in harmony. This is not a fairytale, but a story of fate and destiny. Too bad I want more.
