I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one! After reading "The Exiled Prince" and "The Dirty Princess," I knew this one would blow me away and I was right! Once again Jeanna E. Mann has taken us to a whole new level of mystery and intrigue, love and betrayal, good vs. evil and wrapped it in the story of Roman and Rourke. An emotional rollercoaster that gave me chills and kept me turning pages wanting to know what happened and leaving me breathless with such a great ending. As I was finishing this one I was internally wishing there would be a story coming about the sub-characters and sure enough, as I turned the page there is one! I hope you realize by now, I have to read that one as well. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

You can't missing this stunning conclusion! Wow, the twists and turns this story takes will knock your socks off! All the secrets are revealed, most everyone's hearts are mended, and the beautiful HEA is true fantasy fulfillment. How we get there makes for an unforgettable story as Roman and Rourke not only deal with their marital conflicts but also have to contend with a federal investigation, a murder investigation, a close betrayal, and more. It's a roller-coaster ride you don't want to miss if you've read either of the earlier books in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is the final book in the Exiled Prince Trilogy. Rouke has had enough of the secrets and lies. She does not know who to trust. She is separated from her husband Roman Menshikov, an exiled prince and war lord. She has had a fight with her best friend, Everly. And after two people have been killed and her husband recovering from being shot, well she feels she has had enough. Can Rouke reconcile the fact she is in love with her husband with the fear and distaste she has with his actions? And who, if anyone can she trust? This is a contemporary thriller/romance containing steamy scenes and graphic descriptions. It is well written and can be read alone or as part of the trilogy. I enjoyed the complexity of the storyline and the intrigue. The characters are absolutely amazing and are bigger than life. The suspenseful scenes, the emotional distress, the betrayals and loves scenes are all woven expertly together to provide a great storyline. How the characters grow and change appealed greatly to me. The sexual scenes added to the story rather than detracted from from it. The dialogue was great as well. All in all I feel this was a great book and now I want to read the first two in the trilogy.
