Best-selling author Paul Batista has been a well-known television personality for more than twenty years, with regular appearances on CBS, CNN, HLN, and WNBC. He is the author of four previous thrillers―Death’s Witness, Extraordinary Rendition, The Borzoi Killings, and Manhattan Lockdown. The Warriors is his fifth novel. For more than three decades Batista has been one of the most widely known criminal defense lawyers in the United States. He is also the author of the leading book on the federal racketeering statute, Civil RICO Practice Manual, now in its third edition. He is a veteran of the United States Army and lives in Sag Harbor, NY.
