Anna Winter was born in 1982 and even as a young girl she was enthralled by fairy tales and other stories. She illustrated collections of stories for her family and began writing on an old typewriter at only eight years old. She read countless novels and never lost her fascination for words.
Later she wrote novels for her friends and published her first book in August 2013. In no time it shot to the number one position in the German Amazon-Bestseller list in the fantasy category. It turned out it wasn’t only her friends who wanted to read the book. Now she has a wide readership which looks forward to the release of each new book.
Anna has received the monthly All-Stars award time and again, and was elected Favourite Author in the Fantasy Category 2015 by a Facebook readers group of 14,000 readers.
Anna lives with her family in the south of Germany, only a stone’s throw away from the Black Forest. When she looks out the window of the office she writes in, she can see the ruins of an old castle, which is also where she was married. Her husband may not be a vampire, nor a werewolf, but he is definitely the love of her life.
