Really like the premise and storyline of the book. The action is well written and I enjoy the character development. However, like many light novels in the past few years, continues to overuse the trope of the unsocial/antisocial adult who has no basic understanding of relationships and is oblivious to any interest shown by others. While no romance is particularly needed for a series like this it feels like the author is trying to add some with multiple characters but then continues to use the trope throughout the book making it awkward and annoying.

At a mere 200 or so pages, the series really does not feel worth the price. Especially considering Seven Seas is already one of the most expensive LN providers. That being said, the book is generally well-written enough that I find myself engaged throughout the entire volume and I'm looking forward to seeing it continue (mostly because the Web Novel went on haitus, so I'm stuck with this version)

Very exciting first two novels! The extended action scenes make it a very quick read. The only regret is the desire to read more. Ok, at least one more, and that's wanting to know more about Claire! Alright, I found another regret, which is a trip into a "normal" b ranked dungeon or above. What we got was great, too, so it's clearly a regret not a complaint! I did give it a 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 review!
