About this eBook

Jake Hartman, an avid outdoorsman, finds himself in need of a break from civilization.  He retreats deep in the Venezuelan wilderness after days of trekking away from humanity, attempting to find a spot of contemplation and self-discovery.

Barely having set up camp in the jungle, he notices a girl running through it, escaping a horrific situation.  He intends to help, and soon finds himself confronted with a beautiful woman finding his company a haven.  Jake, while desperately attempting to solve her predicament, relying on his survival skills, finds himself drawn to her more than he would care to admit to even himself.

The situation turns desperate as her friend turns out to be captured, about to be sold into prostitution.  Jake risks everything attempting to find and rescue her.

A story about a man desperately trying to find any good left in the world, fighting for the people he’s lost all faith in.  All he wants is to find his sons someday, living free, off the grid.

Until love wiggles its way into his heart, changing everything, forever.

The book gets to you and makes you feel you are there every second, it awakens emotions such as anger and sadness but also love and happiness. I went on a almost life like trip throughout the book and i strongly recommend it to anybody i really loved it.
