Wow! The best historical fiction I've read all year. The historical detail, the "science" of the day, the social detail, the characters are all so well developed I couldn't put it down.

Good read. Could have done without the two places where the f- bomb was dropped. Also, I was really going she would come out as Ada and stay that way.

A good combination of facts and fiction. A bit of history of Alexanderia would help. Some on the scientific inventions seem to be far fetched. Blaming the church/temples seems to be a formulaic. Glad the romantic aspects are kept in check.
