The book's own review is perfectly pitched - an accurate summary of what the book is about vis-a-vis respectfully getting your needs met. I'm not surprised this is a best-seller. It's great to have an up-to-date appraisal of Marshall Rosenberg's Non Violent Communication (NVC) or compassionate communication with lots of practical examples. I gave this to my therapist to read - and she was bowled over by this and we have used the language D'Ansembourg writes about in our own sessions.
