If there was a way to give 4.5 stars I would… this has been the most fulfilling of the 'inbetween' tales thus far. Obtaining different character viewpoints, experiences, motivations and histories has unfortunately been underdone in many, many novels I've read. In addition to the prior short tales thus far 'Thread of Death' (Book 5.5 in the series) offers not only this bonus to your understanding of the story, but also greater substance than its predecessors via its increased length. A worthwhile addition!
