About this eBook

Police Chief Jane Hardy’s teenage son has been accused of a horrific crime—and three days of Jane’s memories have been stolen from her. In the gripping third installment of the Pelican Harbor series, the truth is finally coming out.

Chief of Police Jane Hardy plunges into the investigation of a house fire that claimed the life of a local woman as well as one of the firefighters. It’s clear the woman was murdered. But why? The unraveling of Jane’s personal life makes answers for the case even more difficult to find.

Then Jane’s fifteen-year-old son is accused of a terrible crime, and she has to decide if she can trust her ex, Reid, to help her prove Will’s innocence—and if she can trust Reid with her heart.

Three days of Jane’s past are missing from her memory, and that’s not all that’s been stolen from her. As she struggles to find the murderer and clear her son’s name, finding out what happened in those three days could change everything.

It all started with one little lie . . . but the truth is finally coming out.

THREE DAYS MISSING... ....Coleen...Coble Seven calls from an old phone behind the drugstore, the detective said it was now to be removed. Did the person know of her investigation, Gail worked at home and no near neighbors, and a angry ex husband who owed her money. Chief of Police Jane with angry words to Lauren, her ex husband Reed was father to her son’s Will . A tangled mess of finding out they.were alive. now stating they were still married and entitled to half. Secrets he never told Jane, saying it was in her best interest. The cult was still a threat, Gabriel now telling Jane , her mother was missing for three days, she had some stuff he wanted back Photos and Jane remembers nothing of them. Asking Reid and he does, he thought her mom might of given her drugs, she had little value of life. A plot that is thick with secrets, hurt feeling, lies, and murder. Families that have been broken. Jane wonders if there is any hope for Reid, Will and her again. Investigation and accusation against her son. Given ARC by Netflex..and Thomas Nelson for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

This is where our fear meets the bedrock of our faith….I pray you’re right. I vacillate between total trust and total doubt. Wow! Expect to sit on the edge of your seat for however many hours it takes you to read this book! Just imagine your child being charged with murder, your world falling apart around you and you have no idea who to trust. All you know is that your child is innocent. The author has done a fabulous job of taking the reader in circles, with so many subplots you start to wonder if it could be the same group behind the fires, murders, etc. Chief Jane Hardy and her deputies are at their finest, working to solve these convoluted mysteries. This book was borrowed from the church library. These thoughts and impressions are my own.

An absolutely fabulous book! I loved the characters, the story line and the conclusion! Some people may think this can be a standalone, but I don't agree! I think you need to read the first two books in the series to really know what is going on with all the characters! The background of the characters is too hard to understand without the knowledge of the previous books. You might be able to piece it together but personally, I think you miss out on all the information you need and the richness of the characters' development. Police Chief Jane has SO much on her plate! Not only does she have crime going on in her small, coastal town but her personal life is very stressful with her 15 year old son suddenly being accused of murder! I can't even imagine it. There are a lot of other things from her past going on too and how she doesn't just fold under the pressure, is beyond me! I know I would! Fortunately, Jane has Reid, her son's father, to support her and together they are going to exonerate their son. There are so many twists and turns that I couldn't read this book fast enough. I loved everything about this book!
