Audiobook Review: Overall – 5 Performance – 5 Story – 5 Good stories! This was so much fun to listen to. I loved getting additional glimpses into the lives of the Coleman family. THREE WEDDINGS AND A BABY by Vivian Arend is a collection of vignettes focusing on the weddings of three couples previously introduced in the author’s HEART FALLS series (Caleb and Tamara, Walker and Ivy, Luke and Kelli), as well as the short story that follows the ongoing relationship and surprise baby announcement between Josiah and Lisa. SURPRISED AT BOOTSTOMP POINT focuses on Caleb and Tamara as Caleb surprises the woman he loves with an impromptu wedding with the happy couple, Tamara’s young daughters, and the local Justice of the Peace. A sweet short story and a happily ever after. HEARTFELT AT HEART FALLS focuses on the winter wedding between Walker and Ivy, and a guest from nature that is the perfect setting that couldn’t have been better planned. A WILD HORSE WEDDING focuses on Kelli and Luke, Kelli’s reluctance for a big Heart Falls Wedding, and the spontaneous ceremony with only the wild horses as witness to their love. OH BABY! by Vivian Arend follows Josiah Ryder & Lisa Coleman, another couple whose reluctance to tie the proverbial knot will come into question when Lisa discovers that she is pregnant. Lisa Coleman struggles to fit in with the people of Heart Falls. With only a temporary position at Josiah’s veterinarian service, Lisa battles between head and heart with no future set in stone, or a determined career path set to follow. A surprise baby announcement, a winter storm, and a small dog whose increasingly over protective nature is called into question. THREE WEDDINGS AND A BABY is cute collection of short stories and vignettes for fans of the author’s Heart Falls series. With sassy, spirited and familiar characters, Vivian Arend invites the readers to bear witness to the love and commitment of the characters we love.

There’s absolutely no doubt I’m a passionate Vivian Arend fan. I first discovered Ms Arend through my love of just about everything paranormal and at the time, I could never imagine reading contemporary romance; that was soon to change. As with a few of my other favourite authors, I decided that if I loved Ms Arend’s PNR so much, why not try her contemporary work and see what I thought. Well, the rest is history. Many, many books later, I am still hopelessly addicted to everything this author writes. From Granite Lake Wolves, Takhini Wolves and Borealis Bears, to the Turner Twins, Adrenaline Search and Rescue and then onto the Six Pack Ranch, Thompson & Sons and now all the stories that comprise Heart Falls; this hopeless romantic is totally hooked! So naturally when you get the opportunity to read just a little bit more about some of your favourite couples and where their love has taken them, you’re going to be excited. That’s what Ms Arend has given her readers in this short, but warm and fuzzy account of the next step in Calen and Tamara, Walker and Ivy, Luke and Kelli’s lives. And let’s not forget Josiah and Lisa; with everyone married off and moving on to the next stage of their future, Lisa seems a little lost. But Josiah is pretty sure he has the remedy to her need to be a useful and her love of all things family. These are just little snippets of the next chapter in our couple’s journeys, but they are oh so wonderful. And just when you think it’s all done, Ms Arend gives us a little teaser of Rocky Mountain Forever. Talk about whetting our appetites, I simply can’t wait!
