About the author

Tim C. Stadler was born in Tulsa Oklahoma in 1963. He is a former United States Marine Sergeant having served in the reserves as a T.O.W. Anti-tank gunner squad Sergeant.

After his military service he spent 25 years as a Tulsa Police Sergeant where his last 10 years were as the supervisor of the Detective Divisions Cybercrime Unit which he created.

He has a strong passion for History, in particular in tracing his mother's family name Yost. This passion led him to a 4 year search for all Yost's as they came from Germany before the Revolutionary War, married into other families, and spread all across America. The result was a 564 page book titled:

"Yost Family History: Germany to 2014"

His second passion is passing on Law Enforcement stories but from a hugely different angle. The putting of you the citizen in the officer's shoes on cases and situations. This led to his second book:

"Shoot or be Killed: Putting you in the officer's shoes during a Use of Deadly Force Case" which is a first hand account of his Use of Deadly Force during his career.
