I have not read a lot of this book, but I'm using it for my research paper, and it is an outstanding book! It's very informational and moving. It also gives you several different perspectives on the riot, and I would definitely suggest it.

Tim Madigan has been a journalist for more than three decades, writing for the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Politico, Reader's Digest, and, for thirty years, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Tim's books include I'm Proud of You: My Friendship With Fred Rogers and Every Common Sight. He lives in Forth Worth, Texas.
Hilary Beard is an award-winning writer and an expert in book collaborations. She has partnered with many celebrities, experts, and public figures, including Katherine Johnson on her book Reaching for the Moon: The Autobiography of NASA Mathematician Katherine Johnson.
