Author of the standard biography of Thomas Nashe, he edited, among other plays, Love's Labour's Lost, Hamlet, and Coriolanus. Stanley Wells is the General Editor of the Penguin Shakespeare. He is Emeritus Professor of the University of Birmingham and Chairman of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. Dr. Nicholas Walton is the Executive Secretary of the International Shakespeare Association. He is a lecturer on Shakespeare at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, and teaches at the University of Warwick
