About this ebook

A New York Times bestseller people can believe in—by "a pioneer of the new urban Christians" (Christianity Today) and the "C.S. Lewis for the 21st century" (Newsweek).

Timothy Keller, the founding pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, addresses the frequent doubts that skeptics, and even ardent believers, have about religion. Using literature, philosophy, real-life conversations, and potent reasoning, Keller explains how the belief in a Christian God is, in fact, a sound and rational one. To true believers he offers a solid platform on which to stand their ground against the backlash to religion created by the Age of Skepticism. And to skeptics, atheists, and agnostics, he provides a challenging argument for pursuing the reason for God.

"The Reason For God"'s treatment of today's cultural beliefs and assumptions is as masterfully done as it is long overdue. It's an outstanding resource for presenting the Gospel to people whose world view is enslaved to this kind of misunderstanding. Aside from dealing with intellectual questions, the book's presentation of the gospel has the power to touch hearts. Using frank language, it communicates Biblical judgement, forgiveness, and restoration with poetic beauty.

I was wondering why this book was rated lower than his other books. But, with this being Mr. Keller's apologetic best seller, it was sure to get some crossfire from the skeptical readers.

Kind of sad that so many people find a book filled with logical fallacies and false statements good.
