Disappointing. It wasn't heartfelt as I thought it would be. The characters pestered me all the way through the end. With Atticus acting like he was wise when in reality, he doesn't really care about his children and only cares about his reputation. He knows nothing of life and the circumstance where Ewell single-handedly and practically murdered his children and injured his son while miracuously surviving is just the author's way of saying this-guy-gets-an-exception-because-he-is-a-vital-character. Now take a pensive comprehension of the plot. Hypocritism at its finest, eh? You know, Harper Lee is like the author rakes up leaves in her yard and then shakes the trees afterwards. And that while it is inexorable for Atticus to change his perception, Harper could have been more realistic and ended their lives. And to be frank likewise, this is just rudimentarily based upon the petty arguments and absurd use of racism in the 21st century.

Many of you are older than me and have read this book, whether it be in highschool, college, or in your free time. I just want to say that as a freshman in highschool this book is irrelevant. There are so many other great and more exciting books out there that teach a similar message. I've wasted four weeks reading this, and because of this book I've had no time to work on things for other classes. If you're a teacher reading this, please do NOT assign this book to your students. They will HATE it.

Absolutely loved it. Thank-you, Harper Lee. May you rest well, knowing what a wonderful gift you have shared with the world. I look forward to reading your next book. In love and peace. this story signifies that she did whatever it takes to overcome her obstacles. obviously this book signifies that she went through horrible things and her bravery made this the moral of the story by doing whatever it takes to overcome her fear and fight for whats right for her.
