Wright was America's favourite author during the early twentieth century, his books setting many sales records. After a childhood so destitute that it adversely affected his health for his entire life, Bell became an entrepreneur and a minister, and lived a life full of inspiring endeavour against all odds. His is a tale of courage and hope, written beautifully and with the wisdom that comes with such experiences.
