About the author

Tom Denton is a Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry and a Member of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers and of the Society of Automotive Engineers. He has written over 30 textbooks, along with support materials, and world-leading eLearning courses.

Hayley Pells is an experienced MOT tester, owner/operator of award winning, Avia Sports Cars Ltd. She is a versatile automotive writer, regularly published since 2017. Hayley joined Tom as co-author for the second edition of Automotive Technician Training in 2020.
