Night Comes Down: A C.T. Ferguson Crime Novel

CT is undercover within a hacking group to try to stop their attacks on his home town. The story features quite a lot of necessary computer terminology so for the author to convey what is happening & simultaneously never leave his readers behind is quite the achievement. I am completely computer illiterate but I never felt lost. This isn't simply a book about IT though, far from it. This might be the best book in the series. The story is engrossing and feels all too possible which ramps up the tension. Each character adds something & moves things forward. There’s tension all the way as CT tries to take on the hackers & keep himself alive. There’s also those fun moments when our favourite PI comes up against someone that thinks him a pushover physically. This is likely the best of the series but even if it’s not it’s certainly my favourite, at least until the author releases another one.

You know Mr. Fowler has to be a good author. This is his longest running series and he has other series , you would think by now it would be getting boring. But nope that’s not the case, he still going strong, still keeping you interested, and on the edge of your seat. Don’t know how you do it, Mr. Fowler but I know you’re one of my favorite authors and I hope you keep going. I would recommend everybody read this series.
