About this ebook

Transitioning out of the military wasn't something Carter saw in his future but here he was, onboarding with a security company to have something to do. It fit his skills and he figured it would be an easy transition. He was wrong.

Ashley doesn't want a bodyguard, there's no reason for it and she told her brother as much. He sent one anyway. This security guard thinks she's an idiot who can't defend herself. She spends her time making a game out of giving Carter the slip until the threat becomes all too real.

When things heat up, can he avoid the heat between them long enough to keep her safe?

I've read several books written by Toni Denise; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the first book in the Guardian Legend Security Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Ashley & Carter.
