A young boy growing up on the streets of New York City, Tyler is exposed to both the good and bad of urban life. About the author

Born and raised in New York City, Antonio I Bertot saw firsthand the tragedies of city life. Being fortunate to be raised by loving parents he and his siblings, two older brothers and two younger sisters, escaped the tragedies that befall many who cannot escape the violence and misfortunes of the streets. Mr. Bertot has always enjoyed telling stories to his kids and their friends and until recently, when a good friend persuaded him to publish some of his works, he never contemplated becoming an author. Now retired and living in Cheektowaga, New York, he has found the time to put his stories to print. This was his first attempt and he truly enjoyed it. He is now at work on the second of three sequels to “The Heart of an Assassin. Since the previous paragraph, Tony Bertot has written three more books. A prequel to his first book, The Heart of an Assassin, The Birth of an Assassin takes you to the beginning and details the molding of an assassin. You are caught up in his story as you also witness the rise to two crime families. Lastly, the sequel, The Legacy of the Assassin, to his first book brings it all to its final climatic conclusion. Many of the readers complained about one thing; "They couldn't put the book down!" In Tony Bertot's fourth book he decided to venture into the macabre with "Hell Train".
