About the author
Paul Cain ist das Pseudonym von George Carroll Sims, der 1902 in Des Moines, Iowa geboren wurde. Unter dem Namen Peter Ruric schrieb er zahlreiche Drehbuecher. Er ist der Autor des Romans ”Fast One“ und der hier vorliegenden Short-Story-Sammlung. Er starb 1966.
