A quick read about the admirable Troy Brown's life and a celebration of his accomplishments. The writing is pedestrian but I enjoyed reading Troy's recollections about the coaches he played for and the players he played with. It isn't a tell-all book but as Pats fans don't get much info they will enjoy the peek behind the scenes. People who are not Patriots fans may have a hard time following some of the game chapters as at times the writer assumes you know what occurred.

All time favorite player. Had no idea how rough he had it growing up and what perseverance it took to make it in the NFL, the Patriots way.

Troy Brown played for the New England Patriots for 15 seasons as a wide receiver, defensive back, and punt returner. He retired from the NFL after the 2007 season. He currently works for Comcast SportsNet New England and serves as co-host of NFL Sunday on Sportsradio 850 WEEI. He lives in Huntington, West Virginia. Mike Reiss is a reporter and analyst for ESPNBoston.com who has covered the Patriots since 1997. He lives in Westwood, Massachusetts.
