Second time I've read this and I still wished for a happier ending. So heartbreaking. Well written, love all the characters. Felt like I knew them

I have read almost all the books from the Novice, High Lord, etc. Etc. It's just an amazing read and so many interesting characters and scenarios; it keeps you on the edge. And makes you want to read on. And this is from someone that doesn't read books. I just took a chance at these and haven't regretted it. 😁

Just finished 'the Black magician' trilogy and I absolutely loved it. I haven't read properly in a while and this was a great way to get back into it. Highly recommended.

Trudi Canavan lives in Melbourne, Australia. Her first published story received an Aurealis Award for Best Fantasy Short Story in 1999. She has since published the bestselling Black Magician Trilogy and is now a bestselling author in the UK, Australia and the US.
