I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it. I loved this book. It was a wonderful addition to this fairly new series. There is just one book prior to this, Gabe's story. You don't have to read it to fully enjoy this story (even though he and Chantel make appearances) BUT you really sure as it is a great story as well. Ella doesn't want to get involved with a "rodeo" cowboy. She just broke up with one and doesn't want a repeat performance. Unfortunately she had to quit her job as an assistant ranch manager as her ex was the son of the owner. She is sitting at a bar pondering about another interview that had gone no where. She is either too young or of the female persuasion. She notices two men fighting over a purse of all things. Ella reaches down to feel for her purse and it is gone. Over walks a handsome cowboy with her purse. Chase Walker has his arm in a sling but still managed to get the purse away from the thief. He was recently injured during a ride as a bronc rider at a rodeo. They hit it off and Ella does something most unusual for her, they have a one night stand. A few days later, Ella is invited to interview at the Walker ranch and guess who answers the door. Yep Chase. The author does a fabulous job of weaving a tale of pure enchantment in Whiskey River, Texas. (I would move there if I could.) Whiskey River is a fictional town that several Tule Publishing authors have used to tell their tales. This is a sexy story but not overly graphic in detail, really just a page or two for few sexy scenes. I would definitely recommend this story to anyone over that age of 18. If you love the old fashioned open the truck door kinda cowboy and a strong female to stand up with him, then this is a tale for you!

Truly, Madly Texas by Eve Gaddy, book one in her Texas True series had me returning to Whiskey River, Texas for Chase and Ella’s enjoyable love story. Saddle bronc rider, Chase Walker is back at his family’s ranch to recuperate after being badly injured in a disastrous ride and temporarily taking over as ranch manager. Stopping in Austin for a quick meal and drink while away from the ranch on business, Chase encounters a purse thief. Returning the purse to its owner, Chase finds himself sharing a drink, dance or two, and the night with the beautiful Ella. Ella Slade is done getting involved with rodeo cowboys after breaking up with her cheating ex- fiancé and quitting her assistant ranch manager job on his family’s ranch. Indulging in a one-night with a sexy cowboy who stopped the thief who stole her purse shouldn’t have been a problem or caused any harm. Only it does cause a problem when Ella arrives to interview for a ranch manager job and Chase turns out to be one of her prospective bosses. She is determined not to mix business with pleasure. Chase has not been able to forget the beautiful Ella, so he suggests she take the job and they pretend that night never happened. Having to work together, Chase and Ella discover a magnetic attraction and off the charts chemistry, making it difficult for them to pretend. Chase realizes he’s falling for Ella, now he needs to convince her that he’s not like her ex, that’s she’s more important to him than the rodeo, and to take a chance on him; on them. Ms Gaddy wrote a wonderfully, sizzling and emotional story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with off the charts, sizzling chemistry, intense emotions, and charming secondary characters giving Chase and Ella a chance for love and a future they desire. I highly recommend Truly, Madly Texas to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

More if a 3.5 stars story In this second book in the series about the Walker siblings, we get to meet and spend time with Chase Walker. Chase is a world champion saddle bronc rider whose latest injury, brings him back home to recover and help his siblings run the ranch. When out of town on business, he has an unforgettable one night stand . Even three days after that night, he is still thinking about her never expecting to come face to face with her. She shows up for an interview for the position as a ranch manager. Ella Slade has left the last ranch after her fiancee, a rodeo cowboy, put the rodeo, and the rodeo bunnies in front of her. Looking for a new start, she goes to the Walker ranch. Imagine her shock to see the man that keeps on showing up in her dreams. Determined to be professionals, they work together and keep try to keep their hands off each other, even if the attraction continues to grow. Ella has more than professionalism keeping her away. She doesn’t want to be once again second to the rodeo . The story was entertaining though not as good as book 1. I have to confess that I never warmed up to Ella and her insecurities. Chase, on the other hand, was a likable character. For me , it was a 3.5 stars story, but will give the author 4 stars for her time and effort. I was entrusted a copy of this by Tule Publishing.
