The success of the Trump presidency will be judged in large part on his ability to reduce the size and scope of the deep state. Chris Buskirk is the editor and publisher of American Greatness. Chris is a contributing opinion writer for The New York Times and has written for The Washington Post, The Hill, and other publications. He is a frequent contributor to NPR’s Morning Edition, the PBS Newshour, and Hardball with Chris Matthews and regularly appears on CNN. He was a Publius Fellow at the Claremont Institute and received a fellowship from the Earhart Foundation. Chris is a serial entrepreneur who has built and sold businesses in financial services and digital marketing. Along with Seth Leibsohn he is the author of the book American Greatness: How Conservatism, Inc. Missed the 2016 Election & What the Establishment Needs to Learn. Chris received his B.A. from Claremont-McKenna College.
