Turning the Tables is a steamy, fun and heartwarming love story. To the outside world Tina seems to have it all. Prestige, money and confidence. But that's just the surface. Tina wants to be liked for who she is, not what she has. Meeting Luke gives her the opportunity to just be herself without all the baggage. Will her masquerade blow up in her face or will she gain all that she has ever wanted? I received Joan Kilby's Turning the Tables for an honest review. An highly entertaining love story with an underlying lesson, JUST BE YOURSELF AND THE REST WILL FALL INTO PLACE. Lovely read.

Awesome read! It's fun, steamy, and a touching love story. Very well written with characters that immediately grab your attention. Tina is bright, successful, and extremely rich but she yearns for someone in her life who loves her just for her. When she meets Luke Pederson from the bar next door to her shop, he mistakes her for a sales associate and she might just forget to tell him otherwise!! This was a very entertaining story and I would definitely recommend it.

About the author

As a child growing up in on a rural property outside Vancouver, Canada, Joan Kilby dreamed of becoming a writer. As a young woman she studied marine biology, obtaining a Masters of Science degree and working in environmental biology for many years. When she was finally ready to settle down, she married an awesome guy and moved with him to Melbourne, Australia. While at home with the first of her three children, she returned to her first love--writing--and never looked back.

When she's not writing, Joan loves to cook and she grows her own herbs and vegetables. Other interests include learning to speak Italian, yoga and travel. Joan is a long-time member of Toastmasters International and is an accomplished speaker--teaching romance writing and giving talks to community organizations.
