About this ebook

Volume 1 of The Beginning After The End

I never believed in the whole “light at the end of the tunnel” folly where people, after having a near-death experience, would startle awake in a cold sweat exclaiming, “I saw the light!”

But there I was, in this so-called “tunnel” facing a glaring light, when the last thing I remembered was sleeping in my room—the royal bedchamber, as others called it.

Had I died? If so, how?

King Grey once benefited from unrivaled strength, wealth, and prestige in a world governed by martial ability, but now finds himself reborn in a society dominated by magic. Given a second chance at life, the once-king strives to understand his role in this new world and the purpose of his reincarnation while correcting the mistakes of his past.

Read the manhwa a while back -over a year ago- and decided it was about time I picked up my second novel. it's got great potential. In a new world, with a similar but expanded form of magic/energy. A man in a new body. re-discovers emotions that lay deep within him, on his journey to aquire the strength to protect his new family. but this time it's different with a promise made to a grandma, he plans to enjoy his life this time building fulfilling relationships and experiences Not the best summary but almost the best I was able to come up with-or at least was willing to-either way. I'll see y'all on the second book

This is pretty much mushoku tensei. As in it seems like the author read mushoku tensei and changed names of people, places and concepts. so if you like mushoku tensei you will most likely enjoy this.... however there are pages missing between 27 and 31... should probably sort that out.

Picked up this book for a pittance and once I finished I bought the rest of the series for a little bigger pittance. This series is worth more than the money I spent and I've been binging the story for a week switching between Googles 'Read aloud' function on my phone and reading it myself, almost 16hrs/day. I've been reading japanese isekai and I have to say my money was better spent on this series than anything else I've bought. Each book is bigger than the last and each story was put out solely by the writer. There are grammatical/spelling errors but the story itself is solid, at least to me, and filed with passion by the author. You can see the growth in the author through the series. I can't embellish enough or properly express my emotional journey through this story and I'm not even done yet. Dear Author, if you see this, this story is amazing and I envy you for getting your words onto paper in such an emotional roller coaster. Thank You! Wrote this on book 8 of 9, will edit l8r
