the story itself would was good. But the flashbacks destroyed the pacing and flow of the book. I mean things are rolling along at a good clip and then bam they hit a flashback and jump tracks.

Love the the story, read volume 3-7 in 3days. It’s nice that the end of each volume is not a cliff hanger but still ending each volume with a twist. hope the author finish volume 8 soon!!

Turtleme definitely took his time. Plotting the course. Because each step seems purposely placed. I'm not saying aruthers path isnt or is a smooth as driving down the street but given Arthur's mentality he handles most things well.
