Información sobre este eBook

A secret camp in the woods. A revolution in the making.

And a fighter that will change what it means to be human.

Maia is hell-bent on revenge, until a tattooed menace literally stands in her way.

Gabe is a legendary fighter with a soft heart that snags on the wounded woman before him.

Together, they discover much more than they bargained for. When the world is ending, someone’s gotta step up and do the saving, and two MMA fighters might just fit the bill.

The Wood Element is being activated, and with it, a war.

This is book three of the science fantasy romance series The Five Elements. It’s written so that the series can be picked up with this book, but there are spoilers for preceding books.

While "UpSpark" was all about self-discovery and a spiritual journey, and "StarDust" told a story about self-acceptance, trust, and hard work, "TwinFlames" is a tale of self-forgiveness, healing, and change. At first, Maia is a revenge-thirsty girl whose only purpose is to right the wrong commited against her sister. Underneath the snarky, defensive façade is a little girl whose faith in the world is destroyed, whose fear is overwhelming, and whose sisterly love is the only light in the dark. But then Gabe appears, with his readiness to understand Maia and support her, and she's not sure what to do. She's not sure whether she knows how to be loved, or whether she's worthy of it at all. Although I didn't really connect with her at first, I ended up growing really fond of our Wood flame. She made mistakes, she ran into walls, and she fell down, and in all of that she found the knowledge and strength to clear herself from blind rage, stand back up, and keep fighting for those she loves without losing herself in the process. This book truly hooked me, and as she usually does, Nicole hypnotized me with her beatiful prose and agile pacing. If there's something we can already expect from FireWater, it's an absolute blast of a series finale. (THE ABSOLUTE CLIFFHANGER AT THE END OF THIS BOOK!? I. MEAN. MY MIND WENT KABOOM. FIREWATER CAN'T BE ANYTHING LESS THAN EXCELLENT.) My eyes already itch to read the last installment in this series, even if I'm a little sad that it will be over once I do!

Acerca del autor

In the ethos where herds of story ideas run wild and free, I am known as the Devourer of Books. A voracious predator, I —

Okay. I’m a mom of three young children. And I spend way too much time in the fantasy world in my head. But, hey, in this world I’m still supernatural. I channel the powers of my insomnia for good. I’m impervious to kid whining and insults (well, mostly). I have a second sense for cereal disasters and broken toy catastrophes. They call me Mom, which is code for You’re-Awesome-We-Love-You or Stop-Writing-On-Your-Computer-and-Play-With-Me. I’m not sure which. My kryptonite is my pet peeves: water running down my elbows, food stains on papers, and losing the little plastic tethers when you remove the tags off new clothes.

So, yeah, that's me. Your average superhero mom. Oh, and I’ve got three eyes (one in the back of my head).

UpSpark, my debut novel and Book One of the Five Elements Series, a science fantasy romance, has been well received. The Worst Story Ever Written, is the start to a new humorous paranormal romance series.
