About this ebook

A case of mistaken identity reveals a twin’s horrifying secret in this twisted tale from the bestselling author of What Janie Found.

Mary Lee and Madrigal are identical twin sisters, inseparable since birth—until the day their parents inexplicably send Mary Lee away to boarding school. While Madrigal flourishes at home, growing popular and even landing a boyfriend, Mary Lee spends her days at school feeling lost, lonely, and envious of her sister’s perfect life.

Then Madrigal comes to visit Mary Lee, and what should have been a fun weekend ends in tragedy. When everyone mistakes Mary Lee for Madrigal, the second-best twin steps into the life of the favorite. But while everything about Madrigal was perfect from the outside, what Mary Lee discovers about her twin is both shocking—and pure evil.

Mary Lee had once wanted her own identical twin Madrigal,to be her (Mary Lee's) other half. All along Mary Lee thought she and Madrigal had been the perfect match for each other. But even identical twins can be different. As different as night and day. Mary Lee had no idea what Madrigal's personality had been. Why some unforseenable tragic accident at a ski lounge had to happen!? I had liked the story of twins that no ordinary siblings that aren't twins, can understand. Or triplets. Or a quad. What twisted and heinous plans Madrigal had for Mary Lee, nobody knew. But for Madrigal's boyfriend ? - man! He was something else.. Psychologically sick and twisted,he wanted Madrigal to be HIS twin. Whattt? By totally cutting Mary Lee off? It was one thing for Madrigal to be jealous of her own twin sister, but why? SHE had just about everything Mary Lee didn't. Madrigal had 'the' personality. Mary Lee didn't. Madrigal had been popular. Mary Lee simply did not. It made me wonder.
