This is one of the greatest pieces of text in history and especially for us Americans. This piece of paper was the founding guidelines for which the greatest democracy in the world was formed! America has turned from free market capitalist to straight up coorpitalist and the hilarious irony in this costing $1 is that we have to pay to read a document that argued for the best interests of the people. How funny is that?!? This should be a right to read and should be encouraged to read among every American!

Should be free, but then again it's a free country they can charge if they feel good about it I guess

Why... Just why? Does Thomas Jefferson STILL have copyright? But there is a free version of this titled The Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States.. Still why do we have to pay for this one in specific?
