This is a story I have been long awaiting to read and it was a great, wonderful book to read. I loved it, couldn’t put it down once I started, wanted to know what these young McKay/West’s have been up to and was definitely not disappointed. I was hoping it would hold up to what I was hoping it would be and Ms. James went above and beyond what I could dream. From the sexy, wild confidence the young Mckay’s showed to the wild and sexy Boone who turns back up to claim his love he left behind. These characters are the wild and crazy next generation that is sure to shack up the world. Boone West left Sierra behind to join the Army, but now he is back to claim the one woman he left behind to find himself and isn’t willing to stop at anything to get her back. Sierra was brokenhearted when Boone left her with little notice and dropped the bombshell on her before he left that he had feelings for her. Now 7 years later he is back and she isn’t sure she is willing to let him back in her life after being hurt. With some great new characters, Lu and Raj added in this bunch and the sexy, smooth Boone is willing to work hard to get her back.

Unbreak my heart, is a very anticipated book from Lorelie James. The new series will be a continuation of the McKay series. The story pickups 7yrs after the Boone West and Sierra (Daniels) McKay say goodbye to each other after. Sierra is a successful independent woman, who has come into her own. Boone is an army medic, who has thrown chance to the wind to volunteer at the Phoenix VA. He does so hoping that he can reconnect with the only person who's has shown him love. He is determined as he she is stubborn, to reconnect with her. The book shows how loving unconditionally can heal you and help you grow. The scenes between them are H O T. This book also gives the reader an insight to the younger McKay kids. Kyler, Anton, and Hayden, they have been christened the McKay-kateers

I've been reading romance long enough to know that sometimes those books that are the most highly anticipated, those that loyal readers can't wait for, can be disappointing. Expectations are high, and each reader has their own idea of how the story should play out. I'm always a little nervous reading one of these books. Lorelei James’ fans have been waiting for Sierra and Boone’s story for 3 ½ years, and it's finally here!! All my angst and worry was completely unnecessary--there's not a single disappointing thing about Unbreak My Heart! Boone and Sierra exceeded my expectations, and then some! Seven years have passed since we first met the pair in Gone Country, and lots has happened since then. The grown up versions of Boone and Sierra are just as appealing, maybe more so, than the teenage versions. I loved finding out more about Boone’s early life, and getting to know the man he has grown into. He's smart, driven, funny, and sweet. I love that Lorelei’s characters have flaws, doubts, and vulnerabilities; they're so much more authentic and relatable. His feelings for Sierra could melt the coldest of hearts. I knew these two would be amazing together, and they truly are.Young Sierra could be bratty at times, and so can grown-up Sierra, but she's become a savvy, successful, confident young woman, with a great sense of humor and a very big heart. I loved, loved, loved seeing Kyler, Anton, Hayden, even AJ’s nephew, Mase as college-aged men. A new generation of McKay men set loose on the female population--I can't wait to see what they get up to in this new Rough Riders Legacy series. If they're anything lIke their fathers and uncles, we’ll be entertained for years to come!
