About this eBook

In the beginning, there's a boy standing in the trees . . . .

Clara Gardner has recently learned that she's part angel. Having angel blood run through her veins not only makes her smarter, stronger, and faster than humans (a word, she realizes, that no longer applies to her), but it means she has a purpose, something she was put on this earth to do. Figuring out what that is, though, isn't easy.

Her visions of a raging forest fire and an alluring stranger lead her to a new school in a new town. When she meets Christian, who turns out to be the boy of her dreams (literally), everything seems to fall into place—and out of place at the same time. Because there's another guy, Tucker, who appeals to Clara's less angelic side.

As Clara tries to find her way in a world she no longer understands, she encounters unseen dangers and choices she never thought she'd have to make—between honesty and deceit, love and duty, good and evil. When the fire from her vision finally ignites, will Clara be ready to face her destiny?

Unearthly is a moving tale of love and fate, and the struggle between following the rules and following your heart.

I just recently finished reading Unearthly and I completely fell in love with the characters. Cynthia Hand is such an creative author when it comes to diving right into Clara's head. Clara struggle to do what is right or follow her heart is something everyone can relate too. I plan on starting to read Hallowed tomorrow and I'm just excited to see what happens between Tucker and Clara and Clara and Christian! I couldn't put Unearthly down. That is how good the book is.

I just finished unearthly, and was so pleasantly surprised with what a wonderful read it was!!! Plus it was on sale. I am looking extremely forward to the next book in the series which will be out soon. The characters are charming, the imagery is extremely detailed, and I love all the historical facts about angels, etc. it was so nice to get away from all the vampire and werewolf stuff and come across such a heartfelt YA read. I am 25 and this book still got it's hooks into me; Tucker Avery... Swoon!

This was honestly one of the best books I've read in a while. I can't wait to read the next one. This book had an amazing storyline. Please tell me they will be making this into a movie.

They first met in 2012, when their publishers sent them on a book tour together, and they hit it off so well they decided to write My Lady Jane so they could go on book tours together all the time. Between the three of them they’ve written more than twenty published novels, a bunch of novellas, a handful of short stories, and a couple of really bad poems. They’re friends. They’re writers. They’re fixing history by rewriting one sad story at a time. Learn more at ladyjanies.com.
