Utter Contempt

The madman manipulates the emotions of those around him, establishing the influence necessary to amass a network of partners and allies to his own advantage. Among them is Nicole Cover, the most beautiful and intelligent young woman in all of Britain, who soon becomes Kendall's romantic interest. However, amid this seemingly fortunate relationship, an emotional tension emerges, culminating in an unexpected tragedy: perhaps Nicole's disdain for Kendall's unknown past ultimately drives him to despair and, finally, to his death under mysterious circumstances—or is it merely coincidence?

As the madman recounts the events, he reveals his ability to shape the destinies of others without fear of the consequences, trusting his meticulous plans to keep him unscathed in every situation. Despite his efforts to cover up the tragedy as an accident, the investigations persist, and the madman hints to the analyst that, while the case may be closed, the true cause of Kendall's death was not mere misfortune but rather "the absoluteness of contempt."
