About this ebook

“You know how I love to torment you, right? I’d lick until you flooded my mouth and filled my belly, then still take more.” -Armyn

Cinza

As the only Faerie in the Raptyr royal palace, Cinza’s delicate wings capture the prince’s attention, but even though he teases her, Prince Armyn always protects her.

Until her mother dies the day after he leaves for his mandatory enlistment and her father remarries. Drowning in misery and abused by her new stepmother, Cinza yearns for their reunion.

Except, when he returns, he's no longer the playful boy she knew.

Can her wounded, battle-hardened prince save her from her stepmother's evil plans?

Armyn

From the moment he met Cinza, he knew she was his, but when his unit is captured, doubt hardens his heart. Even after their rescue, he's plagued with guilt over his brothers’ torture.

When he returns home to find the girl of his dreams a mere shadow of who she used to be, he blames himself, until he sees her scars.

Shocked, he watches as she runs away with her delicate glass wings shimmering in the moonlight.

Can he forgive himself for failing her, or will the demons of his past steal their happily ever after?

3.5 stars. This novella is dual POV, well written, and dark, omegaverse, Cinderella retold, bully romance. Bully romance is not my preference but I enjoy these authors and I’ve read others in the series so thought I’d try. I don’t appreciate the way Armyn took Cinza for granted. I didn’t like his attitude. I empathised with Cinza’s situation and appreciated the resilience that let her keeping resisting but I felt she forgave Amryn too fast. If you enjoy omegaverse bully romance, this may suit.

Trigger Warning! War, death, abuse and some bullying. This isn't the childhood story you grew up with. Alphas and Omegas aren't for kids. While he was always drawn to her, he even told her when he returned from the service that she was going to be his. Still, she couldn't see herself through his eyes. Oh and what Cinderella story would be complete without the wicked stepmother? And wicked she was! I really got into this one and I recommend it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Armyn wasn't a prince charming to Cinza. He was a bully and a pain in the behind. But Cinza can't help how she reactions to him. And the few times he saved her from getting in trouble, she hopes there's more to this uncharming prince. But her happy life has turned upside down and she struggles to find some hope in the darkness. This is a retelling of Cinderella, OV style, and is the third book in the Sci-Fi Fairytale Fusions series. If you love OV, this is one not to be missed as well.
