About the author

Dr. V. Uma, MA, MLIS, M.PhiL, PhD, is presently working as Deputy Librarian in Indira Gandhi Memorial Library University of Hyderabad. She has published over 60 papers in national, international conferences and poor reviewed Journals. She Has been teaching since 1998 and has delivered lectures on invitation. She has won Mahila Siromani award on women’s day (8.3.2014).
