Lucien and Elaina are yin and yang ☯️ Elaina was still reeling from her sister's death and questioning if there was any weight to her insane rants- What if she was telling the truth? Were the brothers a danger to them? Lucien claimed she was his mate - Could she turn him in if he was dark fae? After she begins digging into his past she finds she may have gotten more than she bargained for But in for a penny in for a pound I really wish this was longer I have questions! (Fine I might also want to stay a bit longer.. potatoes pah-tatoes ) I know my questions will all be answered as the series unravels - but helllooo I'm impatient! This was a fast-paced fantasy romance packed with action and adventure

Wow, epically vivid book that comes to life through written words! Lucien feels trapped by the past, and Elaina is in denial of Lucien's importance in her life. She also has a conflict of interest. The love bond between Lucien and Elaina proves to be very powerful. This story is beautifully written! I received a copy of the book from the author, and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

The world this author is building is just wonderful. We've got vampires and fae in this series, and they've got to learn to live in harmony. Unfortunately, the light and dark fae are still at odds, and the battle is front an center with our couple, Lucien and Elaina. Elaina is a wonderfully strong guardsperson who has to learn to adjust her world view because her mate is an icky vampire. Luckily, Lucien is an extra yummy one. The movie that plays while you are reading will keep you captivated. There is an absolutely heart-stopping OMG moment that will have you dropping your kindle and re-reading the passage in disbelief. You'll want to strangle the author. Love where this series is going!
