A great find! It really dives into all the nitty-gritty details behind how to make a scrapbook in an organized way. Not only does it include details about how to design specific pages to get you started in thinking creatively, but it also includes details and pictures that explain how to make a lot of the embellishments you see sold for outrageous prices in craft stores in your own home for much, much less. It is filled with tips, tricks, and money-saving ideas to help novice scrapbookers like me get started. I think my favorite part was the suggestion towards the end of throwing a scrapbook party, where you can invite friends and make new friends while bonding over a shared hobby. My friends and I have boxes and boxes of old photos from shared vacations and experiences, and I can't wait to set up our first party. I also loved the very clear and detailed step-by-step instructions about constructing a scrapbook page, and all the creative design suggestions.

This is a fabulous book for the scrapbooker, new or old. I've done quite a bit of scrapbooking in my life and I must admit, this is a very interesting read. This book will explain to you about the different basics of scrapbooking, such as themes and the different mediums used in scrapbooking. It is very good at explaining how to layout a good scrapbooking page based on themes, how to crop your photos, and how to glue them to the page. It also explains how to use different embellishments, such as glitter, stickers, trinkets, die-cuts, and so much more.
