The next installment in the Steele Ranch series brings more steam than the others! HITCHED tilts more heavily into the BDSM realm than the other books, but it was missing more of the danger that was peppered through the first books in the series. But what it did have made the book just as enjoyable a read as the others. In this story the Steele heir is Sarah Gandry. She already lives in Barlow and quite frankly knows exactly who her family is, which makes her different from the other heroines in the series. But the other thing that makes her different is that she is already known to the hero’s, King and Wilder, of the story. I liked reading exactly how their relationship started and then progressed. But so many misconceptions on both sides! Sarah wants more than a vanilla relationship … and it doesn’t seem that King or Wilder would be up for the task even though she is attracted to both. But surprise, surprise … both men love some kink and knowing that Sarah is a natural submissive makes both of their dominant sides explode with want and possession. But boy howdy … are her momma and brother pieces of work. Gotta read it to believe it! It is a wonder that Sarah is not permanently scarred by this women. All in all, I really enjoyed the story. Not as much as some of the others, but it had a great premise and was well written and engaging. Vanessa Vale is creating an awesome series and great characters that are likable. Now I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series just to see what happens next and who is next to fall! eARC through L Woods PR

This book is a bit different from the other books in the series, which focus on the "lost" daughters of a ranch tycoon in Barlow, Montana, who find love when they come to claim their inheritance. This time, Sarah doesn't find love unexpectedly, she discovers love that was always there. Wilder and King have their hearts set on Sarah, they just don't think she wants them back or that she wants the same things they do. They try to woo her individually, because they don't think she would be open to what they need and they will have to ease her into their lifestyle. Sarah wants things....she just doesn't know how to go about getting what she wants. She doesn't think Wilder or King can give her what she needs, so she eases away from them. Then one wild weekend...... There is a lot of miscommunication between the characters in this story. As always, it was an excellent example of menage romance, and I enjoyed it a lot. I was hooked from the beginning of this series and this book was not an exception to this. There is lots of emphasis on the concept of "the family that you choose, instead of the family you are born to" in the entire series, and despite elements of BDSM, the women are treated with respect and love, which is awesome. While this book is totally a stand alone, the story is much richer after reading the previous books. I'd recommend this book, and the entire series, to anyone looking for a fun, light hearted menage romance!

I KNEW I WAS COMPLETE—MARKED—CLAIMED—THEIRS Once again, Ms. Vanessa Vale has entertained her loyal readers with another new series. Not only is there some mystery, suspense, and surprises, but it is jammed packed full of sexy dominant men and strong but submissive women. The new series will bring five strangers, whom all turn out to be half-sisters, sired by Aiden Steele. While he never did anything for them growing up, he will leave his ranch and millions to be divided between them. While most of the sisters never knew their biological father or that they have half-sisters, this story will be just a bit different. Each story in this series will read as a stand-alone but better if they read in written order. The fourth daughter of Aiden Steele, Sarah Gandry, knew that he was her father, but it wasn’t spoken about publically, and he only would give her a nod when he saw her. Sarah hasn’t told anyone, and she even grew up in Barlow, Montana. Sarah has known Wilder and King since she was a young girl, but they were years older than her. That didn’t stop her having feelings for them. “I just wanted—them. I loved them, always had and now that they were sitting before me, knew I always would.” While Sarah will date both King and Wilder, after returning home from college, they are too vanilla for what she wants, and that is such a disappointment. She wants kink, interested in BDSM, and knew she needed more, wanted it wild and rough, even though she was a virgin, deep down, she had known for years. She will attend a BDSM event and what a shock for King and Wilder to see the woman they want, and the way she is dressed. That is all it takes for King and Wilder to take control, and take her to their room, where she will never use her safe word. One night of teasing without actual sex, honest talks, true confessions, and a marriage proposal is only the beginning. There are more secrets to come out, like her parentage, a change in her will, and marriage on Monday. Sarah is ready to acknowledge she is Aiden Steele’s daughter and will get to meet three of her half-sisters and their husbands who will all show up for the courthouse for the marriage. The marriage is off to a good start, but trouble is on the way. Sarah will not tell her money-grubbing mother that her father helped her out and definitely not that she married. Sarah doesn’t want anything to do with her mother and half-brother and detest the way they live and use people. Some people are nothing but trouble, like Sarah’s mother, secrets will come out, and it could cause problems for this new marriage. Sarah will prove that she is much stronger than most people give her credit for and her integrity and that of her men will make all the difference. “She loves us. Married us. She didn’t run. Now let’s go fix this.” –Wilder “I love you. I love both of you. I’ve loved you forever. I wanted you to know I give myself to you. Wholly. Completely. I don’t want to think about anything but your touch. I’m like a toy, being shared back and forth. I’d wanted kink. I wanted wild. I wanted dirty and naughty. I got it with these two. ” -- Sarah
