A Wonderful and Endearing Story Deborah Mast's twin boys are the center of her world, and there isn't anything she wouldn't do for them. Yes, the almost seven year olds can be a little active and curious, but Deborah has her way of raising them and no one can tell her otherwise. However, Nicholas (Nick) Stolzfus did not get that memo. He thrives on structure and planning both of which go out the window when he finds out that working with his neighbor will include Deborah and her energetic twins. However, Nick comes up with a plan which involves a structured way of keeping the twins under control while helping them funnel their energy. Nick is convinced that Deborah will agree with his plan, which she does, but not until he agrees to a surprising plan of her own. And that is the beginning of a series of events which will take Deborah and Nick on an unexpected and interesting journey. There is so much that makes this such a wonderful and endearing story. It piqued my curiosity and drew me in right from the start kept me there all the way to the end. The characters were absolutely delightful and charming. Their interactions kept me laughing and smiling, especially the banter between Deborah and Nick and the well-meaning antics of the twins. The story pacing was perfect and was key in Deborah and Nick getting to know each other which included how their pasts played a part in their growing relationship. I also enjoyed how the elements of humor, romance, faith and trust flowed flawlessly throughout the story and kept me completely connected to the characters. The Amish Twins Next Door is an awesome fun and endearing story. It is a definite must read that you will want to check out for yourself. And although it's a standalone in Chapman's Indiana Amish Brides series, I highly recommend you read the rest of the series as well. You won't be disappointed. ****I received a complimentary copy of the book. All comments in this review are my honest opinion and completely my own.

You just can't go wrong with a book from Vannetta Chapman! From the first time I started reading Amish fiction, this author quickly became one of my faves! She has excellent writing skills and can weave an interesting tale. I haven't missed even one book of this series of Indiana Amish Brides Romance. They have all been great and are all stand alone books. The characters are all new in each of the stories. I totally enjoyed this sweet romance. I loved the caring characters and the cute and ever-so lively twins. With two, there is always lots of activity and these boys are no exception. I really enjoyed this book as I did all the others. So happy to have read such an uplifting book. You won't want to miss it. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. All thoughts are my own.

The Amish Twins Next Door by Vannetta Chapman is the ninth book in the Indiana Amish Brides series. Each book in this charming series can be read as a standalone. I have enjoyed each book in this sweet series. I just loved this amusing story. Two boisterous yet sweet twin boys (who are interested in the new neighbor), a grumpy new neighbor (who just wants to be left alone), and an overprotective mother makes for one entertaining story. I found The Amish Twins Next Door to be well-written with developed, realistic characters. The story moved along at a quick pace. It reach the end far too soon. Deborah is a single mother of busy twin boys. They live with her parents who believe it is time for Deborah to marry and provide a father for the twins. They believe the single new neighbor is an excellent candidate. Nick, the new neighbor, just wants to be left alone to run his farm. Unfortunately, two little boys keep sneaking over. Deborah and Nick come up with an arrangement. He lets the boys help with the goats to help work off some of their excess energy plus give them guidance. Nick helps Deborah by going out on “pretend” dates with her. This will get her parents off her back. You just know things are not going to go as planned. I laughed often while reading The Amish Twins Next Door. This was such a merry tale. I can always count on Vannetta Chapman to provide a diverting story. This book came along just when I needed it. There are good life lessons in the story. I like how faith was woven into the story. I am eager for this author’s next novel. The Amish Twins Next Door is an uplifting story with two boisterous boys, guileful goats, long-term targets, pestering parents, a brusque bachelor, a mollycoddling mother, a dating dilemma, and an exultant ending.
