The Unraveling: A Novel

Although the marketing for this book is very clear and up front that it isn't a romance, the problem is the writing throughout most of the book feels like a romance, albeit a dark one. This is a fast read, I read it very quickly, and really wanted to figure out how everything would turn out. Some of what happens you can see coming from a mile away, but the very final twist, I actually didn't see and feel a little puzzled over because I'd almost like more of an explanation around it.

Woah! This was not what I was expecting. This story pulled me in pretty quickly. I immediately was invested in what had happened, where this character was now in her life, and what her motivation was. As the answers were revealed, new questions arose. And I loved every mysterious, twisty turn it took. I recommend staying away from any reviews that give away too much of the story.

This psychological thriller is mind blowing! The twists and turns the author takes you on is crazy. You think you know where the story is headed, and BOOM it takes a hard left! I could not put the book down and read it in two sittings! It's a different type of book than the author usually writes, but it is well worth your time to read.
