Professor Salman (Zamik) Rosenwaks is at the Department of Physics, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer Sheva, Israel. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. After staying as a Royal Society Postdoctoral Fellow at Cambridge University and as a Research Associate at the University of California, Santa Barbara, he joined Ben-Gurion University in Beer Sheva, Israel. He has been a visiting Professor at Oxford, Columbia and British Columbia Universities. Professor Rosenwaks has contributed to over 200 publications, including more than 150 in peer reviewed journals and 60 in conference proceedings. He has given over 60 plenary and invited talks in conferences and has been the recipient of over 40 large scale Research Grants. The main research interests of Professor Rosenwaks are molecular dynamics, in particular vibrationally mediated photodissociation, and chemical lasers.
