About the author
Qiu Xiaolong, scrittore e traduttore, è nato a Shanghai e dal 1989 vive negli Stati Uniti, dove insegna letteratura cinese alla Washington University di Saint Louis. La pluripremiata serie dell’ispettore Chen, dodici episodi, è stata tradotta in venti lingue e adattata per una popolare serie radiofonica di Bbc Radio, e diventerà anche una serie televisiva. Di Qiu, Marsilio ha inoltre pubblicato i due romanzi che raccontano le storie del Vicolo della Polvere Rossa, e una raccolta di poesie dedicate a Chen Cao.
