She loves everyday heroes, men who love their families and chase their dreams. She writes about women who are strong, independent and loyal. If she could use one word to describe her romance novels, it would be "real." By contrast, she also writes paranormal romance with her friend Leigh Neely under the pseudonym Neely Powell.
