About this ebook

After a tragic car accident involving Claire Ford, a washed-up actress, the world wonders what happened to her six-month-old baby. No one believes Ford's version of events, and she's being charged with murder.

True crime podcaster Hannah Faran teams up with Ford's defense attorney to prove nothing is as it seems in this case, but Faran becomes the target of a brutal attack at her home. She's more determined than ever to help Ford, but searching for the truth has never been more dangerous.

This book picks up right where book 1 left off and we're off and running. The tension mounts, the mystery grows and while we get a few more hints there is still much to be discovered. Twists and turns, we realize that some of the people are truly evil but are left to wonder about the others. There is more going on than shows up on the page and it seems for every answer there are two more questions. Great story, great suspense. Be sure and start with book 1, it's a continuing story.

With Claire Ford in the local jail, Silas and Hannah try to gather evidence to prove her innocence. But Owen Bishop has money and influence to persuade people to take his side. There is a side to him the public does not see. The story line gets more tense and threats to Hannah.
