all these books are so stupid, you have people tamping the countryside finding bodies and they are not even serving policemen. why can't these authors just write about detective work, like finding clues and solving crimes instead of going g off on wild tangents that have nothing to do with story. these are so confusing that it makes you feel like you have missed something and end up going back a few pages only to find that NO ITS JUST THE AUTHOR GOING OFF HALF COCKED AS USUAL HOW THEY SOLD BOOKS I WIL. NEVER KNOW

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the Capsule Killer series. In this book, Suede has learned of the death of the mother of one of the victims and she doesn't think it is a suicide like it seems. Nate and Suede are growing closer, even though she still has feelings for Riley, but Riley is determined he can't be with Suede and Riley has secrets of his own. Riley is dealing with his brother and his brother's friends, while trying to keep his distance from them. Suede uncovers even more evidence about the murders and things her mother was investigating. This book answers some questions but gives me even more. There are things happening in this small town for years and i wonder who the killer or killers are. Suede is determined to get the answers and i think she is about to get answers she doesn't want. This series has me hooked and i love a story where it makes me think and care about the characters. This is a great story so far and i can't wait to read more. Well done.

I adore this series, but this book took me a little while to get into. There’s a lot of scene-setting with this story, and because we don’t immediately see the results of what we learn, it felt like a bit more than necessary. I know it’s all going to be vital as we get deeper into the mystery, but right now I can’t see the pattern. And that bugs me because I have dozens of pet theories and I have no idea which (if any) will prove out to be correct. The sudden and abrupt cliff-hanger ending leaves me rabid to find out what happens next. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
