And there's a new series off and running. If you think small town life is quiet, you haven't been to Everly. This is the first in a new series by the duo of WL Knightly and it starts off hot with danger all around. Fast paced, twists and turns and I highly recommend that you don't try and draw any conclusions, unless you want to be wrong. Eager for the next book. As always, well written, full of suspense and edge of the seat tension.

Small towns always hide the best secrets. Even though everyone knows everyone else and is up to their eyebrows in each others’ business, there always seems to be something dark and dangerous at the heart of every small town. And in Everly, where “change” is a dirty word, that may be truer than the residents realize. We see the town from several different perspectives, and it appears that there’s more going on than we first see. I can’t wait to dig deeper and find out how it all ties together.

A twisted look from multiple characters Andy, a volunteer firefighter, has been trying to get hired full-time with the Everly Fire Department and is surprised when he hears that the city council has approved the hiring of Jack, a big city police officer, to be the only detective that the city has had. As the story progresses the plot thickens along with the smoke, a crime scene interaction could turn into a joke, and if they are not careful a killer’s instinct may be awoke. W.L. Knightly has started the new series off with a twisted look from multiple characters view points in The Fate of Reality. We know the who for part of the book, but there is still some mystery surrounding another part that the reader has yet to figure out. As always it will be interesting to see how the rest of the series pans out. I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
